Linda Sullivan is the President of Santa Fe Furnishings and Dawn Mattis is the National Sales Manager. They have spent most of their working lives in various aspects of the retail business. When they started Santa Fe Furnishings in 2007, their goal was to provide a quality product at a reasonable price and offer customers unique Western and Southwestern products that were not available in Alberta. They have steadily increased their range of merchandise, until today they can offer products ranging from collectible Native American pottery and turquoise jewelry, to hand crafted western and southwestern furniture that can best be described as functional works of art.

They make regular trips to El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico to acquire the specialty products that their customers expect. They have a close relationship with their suppliers and have grown to enjoy the Southwestern atmosphere so much, that they are currently building a home just above the Rio Grande in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Three years ago they closed their business in Calgary and acquired a property in the Bragg Creek area. The property had a large log home and a two story log barn. The barn has been completely renovated and now serves as their show room and business centre, while the home has been largely furnished with their products and acts as a backdrop for much of their furniture and accessories.

Linda and Dawn now live in the Priddis Bragg Creek area and are happy to welcome potential clients to their show room. Visits are by appointment only, so that they can concentrate on the client’s needs without the interruptions normally occurring in a big city business.
